The book did well in preparing him for the exams and boosting his confidence level. After studying the book and taking the practice tests, he tested into honors English and Math.The book reviews basic English and Math skills encountered on the test and provides several practice tests. It also offers test taking tips and strategies.

By kirk paulsen We bought this book for my daughter along with the College Placement Test Math Practice booklet and the combination of the two really helped to reinforce the areas she was struggling with. We also liked that the book gave you website if you needed further examples or explanations. Written well and very helpful.

For the amount I paid, I expected much more content, and I expected that content to be error-free. The "bonus" materials online were the same practice exercises in the book. Do NOT throw away your $40!
