This is a hard and fast (and super hot) love story that I really enjoyed. There are no deep thoughts or hard topics to digest and I was totally ok with that. Sometimes you need a quick roll in the hay* that turns into more, right? RIGHT.[*Note: Amazon censors all the good words so I have to come up with "clean versions" to post here. SORRY. blame amazon.]Rose is trying desperately to be an actress but hasn’t been able to land anything. She’s three months behind on her rent and she refuses to hit up the director’s couch in order to get a part. Her best friend recommends that she become a Personal Assistant in order to make some money and get back on her feet. She applies for the only one out there and ends up becoming the PA for Cole Dean, a very very private actor.Rose and Cole are attracted to one another and immediately fall into a sexual dance. Are they just having sex? Are they more? Is she still his employee? Did she really just do the very thing that she claimed she never would?This is somewhat predictable, but God, it was really fun to read. I loved when Rose stood her ground and turned the tables on Cole. The scenes sizzle when they’re together and I swear, my breathing started getting short and hitched in time with Rose. Sweet baby jesus, Cole is one sexy mother.....So yes, hard. fast. delicious. If you’re looking for a book to satisfy a craving for lots of hot sex then you’ve found it. Quick yet hot read By MissKris I received a copy of this from netgalley for an honest review, thank you!I was drawn into this book immediately and read it in one sitting. Rose pulled me in and kept me turning the pages. Struggling actress dealing with financial ruin and gets lined up for a job as a personal assistant to a hunky star. This book was set up to be fabulous and I don't feel the author missed the mark with it.The parts that dropped this to a 4 star read for me was how Rose was pretty selfish. But I realize that it's part of a growth thing for character development. With this being a pretty short read, it came across as more selfish/whiny more than anything. And that just irked me. If this had been a bit longer with more time to drag out some character development and she had time to work on that selfishness a bit more...would have thrown it to a 5 star read for sure. I just loved Dean Cole, besides being yummy in the most delicious way...he's got a heart. He wasn't the alpha sort in a domineering way (actually Rose was more dominate and alpha in my opinion) and that was a nice break from the typical erotic romances.The love scenes were HOT and well written. I didn't feel that they were totally out of the realm of reality, never was I rolling my eyes saying "Suuuuuuuurrree, uh huh."This story had me on a rollercoaster of emotions the entire ride, giddy, heartbroken, angry and in the end content. I cannot wait for the next book. This one did not end in a cliffhanger but it looks like more to come from this world Gabriel has created and I'm excited for the ride.

I see that it is the start of a series, but it does stand alone just fine. The story itself is well plotted and the passion and romance are balanced quite well with the storyline. My only caution is that I personally, found the heroine to be quite immature and shallow. That made it a little more difficult for me to root for the happily ever after. I just wanted her to show a bit more growth through the story line. I'm hoping she will make another appearance in the series and that growth will have obvious;y occurred. I would definitely read more from Ana Gabriel. she wove a good story from a string premise.*I received my copy from NetGalley.com in exchnage for an honest review.
