Frank is a troubled young man who has difficulty fitting in, always in constant confrontation with family, friends, school and church. 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. I Loved this Book! By Deirdre Tolhurst I enjoyed this book more than many others by more renowned writers. I was not disappointed in the end, I was very satisfied; yet I didn't want it to end. One is not left hanging, but it was like eating a perfectly cooked steak. Every bite is savored and when it is all gone, although satisfied, just one more bite would be great. I truly hope that Mr. Rossi writes a sequel to this book. Set during the second world war, I was able to see things from the perspective of a family living in England during the blitz. The characters were all very engaging, and I had a sense of being right there with them as their story unfolded. If you are looking for a book that you will enjoy just for the sake of reading, this is it. I now intend to read Mr. Rossi's first book, Flowers on the Balcony.
