Learn about the weapons I ( Wahaika, Kotiate, Maripi and Taiaha), plus many others I had never even heard of. Learn how they were used, what they were made from, and what made their design so effective.Jeff Evans collected the information about these weapons from written accounts, many of which were recorded in the early years of contact between Maori and European. The information is enhanced with the addition of wonderful old photos and sketches of Maori weaponry, making this a valuable resource book for anyone interested in ancient weaponry and the Maori culture.
