Lopez Two strong novels of the danger - and ease - of slipping into sin.Broken IdentityAn Indepth view of the slippery slope to sin. Completely clean and a clear warning of how careful we need to be to avoid the downslide. I enjoyed getting to know these characters and to watch them slip, stop, and recover. A very good read.Waters FallIn-depth look at the consequences of sin. I almost feel it should be required reading for married couples or for those planning to marry. It clearly shows how the enemy hides the hooks and makes sin look attractive. It's a page turner. Both Jake and Nora love the Lord and both have faults and pride that draw them away from Him. Their separate journeys back will hold your attention as you watch them deal with issues every couple faces — though not all fall so overtly into sin. Tristan, the antagonist, is shown in less (but sufficient) depth. I cannot say enough good things about this novel. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.
4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. Great books By JoAnn S. Two terrifically written Christian novels dealing with betrayal and forgiveness in marriage. The characters are so real to life that I found myself cheering for some and wanting to shake some sense into others. I was given a copy of this set by one of the authors for this honest review. Many thanks to Sarah Foster for the opportunity to read and review for her. I have read other books by both of these authors and you can not go wrong by choosing their books.
0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. 2 full length novels. Really good reads. By Lynda Knapp This includes Broken Identity by Sarah Jae Foster and Waters Fall by Becky Doughty. Both novels get 4 stars from me. I would read either of these novels again and definitely recommend them. They showed the grace and mercy of God.At first, I didn't much care for Broken Identity but realized it was because I was convicted. The novel brought it front and center just how easily you can fall away from God. After that, I read with open eyes and was there with Mona while she (and the Lord) worked through the issues in her life. It showed how she relied on God. Great work, Sarah Jae Foster.I had read Waters Fall as a stand alone book some time ago, but was willing to revisit Jake and Nora. I was pleased to see that God was featured while both Nora and Jake worked through their issues. I enjoyed reading Becky Doughty's novel - great job!
