First of all I absolutely love the title - although I've had Madonna's song 'Hanky Panky' stuck in my head ever since I read this book! I also love that the heroine is a curvy BBW - and the hero is a big fan of every one of her curves. The story has a lot (and I mean a lot) of sex and BDSM scenes, and there may be too many for some readers. Personally I enjoyed every steamy scene, as they were all red hot and very varied - this author has one heck of an imagination! There is also a decent storyline with love, emotion and conflict in the form of a deranged ex wife.Karen has spent months obeying the commands of her online Dom, Master Lars. However, she's shocked when she finally meets him and discovers that he is her high school crush, Andy. Once she gets over her shock they start a steamy, real life D/s relationship. But things get messy when Andy's crazy ex wife gets involved - can they survive her interference?I really like the relationship between these two, especially the way Andy helps build Karen's confidence and self esteem. Their chemistry is absolutely sizzling, they really are a perfect match for each other in every way. The storyline was enjoyable and succeeded in keeping my attention from start to finish. This was the first book I've read by this author, but it definitely won't be the last. Five fabulous stars!I received a free copy of this book in exchange for a honest review.

Karen has been spending a few months now, obeying the mysterious online Dom who goes by Master Lars. When they finally meet face to face, she’s completely stunned. Andy, her high school crush, her Master Lar. The man who’s been denying her all these months. After the shock wares off she realizes that both of them are leveling a huge amount of trust and Andy (Master Lar) is about to show Karen the truth of a Dominance/Submissive relationship is all about. When thing get difficult will Karen truly stand by her Dom or will she safe word out? Ms. Hawley did a wonderful job bringing the story to life before my eyes. I love the aspect of a crush finally starting to bloom as they both go on a journey of trust, love and pleasure as they move on in their adult life. Karen was a curvy BBW woman and Andy was especially pleased with Karen’s body shape which I found refreshing. I felt like there was an even balance of everything between storyline to the romance between Andy and Karen.The only difficulties that I had was the transition between Karen’s and Andy’s POV (point of view). At times I had to go back to make sure I knew who was talking. Other than that I still enjoyed the story and found it highly entertaining. Hanky Spanky By romanticreadsandsuch While I know this book isn’t going to be for everyone, I think that those that do give it a chance are going to enjoy themselves. We get a bit of the kink out of the way early on, with a trip to a BDSM club, but after that it is mostly just really hot sex (with the occasional Sir or Master thrown in). The main story though is about finding the match for you and weathering some rough times. It’s nice to see Andy find someone that fits so well with him, especially after how unfulfilling his first marriage was. And he does a great job supporting Karen and showing her what a fantastic person he thinks she is. I liked watching them develop their relationship into something that works for them. And as awful as she is, I also liked seeing them handle his ex together.You should know what you are getting into from the title, so there should be no surprises there. And while it isn’t my main genre of romance, I’m not the type to turn away from a little of the heavy stuff :) I’m sure there are those who are more in tune with this scene who may have issues with the way the BDSM is handled (again, not my major thing so I just go with what works for me) or those that just don’t like it all (aaand you should know that going in) but as a novice who just enjoys an entertaining story I was more than pleased.(Complimentary copy provided in exchange for an honest review)
