This study guide was nothing like the actual test and was poorly written By Sarah Wamsley This study guide was nothing like the actual test and was poorly written. I did pass the test, but the study guide from the state was much more useful and accurate. The writing in the study guide was obviously done be many people and put together without reading the book as a whole because it was repetitive. The practice test at the back of the book was nothing but trivia questions and the information wasn't even always in the study guide part. The actual AEPA test was scenario based, so nothing like this practice test.

There is a lot to study, but it looks like it will give me the tools to prepare myself well for the exam. I have been a Kinder/1st grade teacher for 9 years and I have learned many strategies to help my students, but I haven’t had to take a test on my knowledge in that many years. I feel nervous, but this resource should help me be able to show what I know using the correct terms. As I read I am remembering theories and concepts that I had forgotten. I recommend this book.
