Lind One of the best fiction reads I have had the pleasure to enjoy in quite a while. The story developed smoothly with just enough suspense to maintain interest. Most enthralling for the politically savvy is the very close resemblance between the authors portrayal of politics in the early 20th century to the politics of election year 2014. It is scary similar. It tends to convince that the U.S Congress and state governments, the performance of their lawmakers have evolved not one bit over the last century. The plight of the people is so similar; the gap between the haves and have nots is identical. Riveting!
0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Political By Nurse Nancy This book is quite good but I found myself skipping the political stuff if it got too lengthy.... Most of Raines books are westerns but this one doesn't have a bit of that kind of lifestyle in it.

Shows the difference in two cousins and what they stand for. The westerns have a bit more action. I think it is because I don't care for politics.
