Does not delve too deep into the history but just enough to keep you interested. Appears to be lacking information about the American battlefields such as Belleau Woods'

Austin A very complete guide for visiting British battlefields of WW1. I found it lacking in similar depth for French or American battlefields. Little on Verdun and no mention at all of the largest American cemetery of the war.

Good coverage of the history, museums and post war monuments, but no driving maps or coverage of the remains. We think the title and description of the book is wrong.
