Johnston This study guide along with the XAM series helped this poor test taker pass the IL State Boards the very first attempt! After being out of college for almost 10 years, I had to pass these tests to get certified after relocation. This was a great review of basic information-I do recommend the study guides, it may save you money and time in the end-all the tests are at least five hours each test! Plus, with the new guidlines you can only fail a few times...so I would recommend this investment!

It thoroughly covers a vast amount of information. There's nothing on the test that you will not find in this guide. While some topics are more in depth than others, each subject has a detailed overview to make sure you're as prepared as possible for the test. It is clearly written and has practice tests for you to gauge your understanding with. It is a really great tool to use.
