Both of his parents, never went to school, financially very poor, deprived of social status, education and simple human rights by Hindu cast system, because they were borne untouchables. He was discouraged to join even in first grade, as teacher of that school, happens to be Hindu. But his father was relentless to provide best education to his kids. With his connections, he managed to put him in Christian missionary school. Getting education for untouchables were out of dream, as constitution of Hinduism called Manu Smriti, did not allow Sudra or untouchables to be educated. You can figure out from this law.....MS111-4....If the Sudra intentionally listens for committing to memory of the Vedas, the king shall cut his tongue in twain. If he has mastered the Vedas, his body should be cut in two pieces. Under such deplorable conditions and beating all odds, He excelled in his education and was First class First through out his education period He was Sub Judge in 1940 in undivided Punjab. He was also also member of Punjab Sub Ordinate Service Selection Board. He also served as Passport Officer and helped lot of people personally. He helped to change law, to facilitate untouchable to immigrate to UK, by lowering the guarantee amount from Rs10000 to Rs.5000. It is really a great life story

Inspiring By Amazon Customer The author of My Struggle in Life, Mr. Ishwar Das Pawar, is worthy of the title "Inspirational Giant."  I am one of those very fortunate individuals who had the honor and a privilege to spend time with him. He always showered me with his kindness and taught me to respect everyone regardless of the circumstances. He is the one from whom I learned that there is nothing impossible in the world that one cannot accomplish or overcome if one has a firm determination and strong will to accomplish that task, even the unthinkable one. He is a champion of accomplishments and his book is an example of his hard work. He delivered justice to those who had lost hope and dignity at the hands of the corrupt system they had endured for a long time. He became a pillar of hope for so many who had felt there is no bright future for them and their families.The people all over the world, especially in UK, remember him with fond memories for his contribution in uplifting them. They will never forget him and always cherish the generosity he has demonstrated towards them.I have been practicing what I have learned from him. Now, the biggest obstacle that life throws at me seems so little.Everyone that I know who has read this book finds his work very inspiring.Sincerely,P. Bhatti
