I used the Study Guide, Practice Exam and Flashcards together and didn't skip anything. Reviewed everything and this study guide includes everything you'd need to know - basic to advanced. This guide covers Arithmetic and Elementary Algebra, College Level Math, Reading Comprehension, Sentence Skill Tests, Essay, and so on. There is also a Practice Test with answers, and a large section of study secrets and help for test anxiety. There is also a lot of additional material included which you can access online via the internet, some of it is material included in the book, so you can access it in multiple ways if you don't want to carry the book around with you everywhere. The bonus material also includes sections about High-Frequency Geometric Formulas and Prefixes and Suffixes. There is a lot of vital material here and it includes all the basics as well, which I know it's easy to think I am well versed in, until I start reading study material like this and realize how helpful it is to just brush up on the things you may not have covered in a while. It's far to easy to forget things like this and find myself making easy mistakes when exam time comes around. The guides also stress the importance of basic preparation for taking an exam, how to study for the exam, and reminders for what to do the day OF the exam. If you're tired from studying, you might need that checklist too! haha! Overall, great study guide!

By Michael Kato The tools and information in Accuplacer "Secrets" study guide is well informed and easy to follow. I'm taking advantage of the Video's that have been provided, to better understand how the Accuplacer exam will be like. My backgound in math is not very strong and my grammer can use a tune up, and this book has a great foundation, design, information, and lots of atlernatives to help guide me in the right direction for my upcoming test.

It’s hard to know where to start studying since there is so much to cover. If you have to take this test, you really should get and use this study guide. The guide has everything in it that will be covered on the test. You will have all the material you need to study in one location. Plus, there are also some sample questions from each section of the test so you know just what type of questions you will see on the test and how they will be worded and so on. The study guide is really the best help you can get before the day of the test. Keep it with you a lot and use it wisely and you will feel much better about how prepared you are for the real thing.
