To handymen, Jake and Cory, building a relationship is a lot like designing a home or landscaping a yard. It’s hard work, and you have to use just the right tool. When these straight-acting laborers first meet, they release their manly tension over a few beers and something much more sordid than sparks fly. Their strong libidos aren't used to experiencing feelings for another man, and it takes a few sticky situations before they understand the blossoming romance budding between them. Cute and tatted twenty-something, Jake Honeywell, will do anything for his kid sister. He loves landscape design and longs to travel north one day to see the fall foliage. He’s recently come out—at least to himself and a select few. While this has him circle jerking with his buddies watching football, there’s something missing. Cory Hamilton is tall, tough, and macho. He’s a successful real-estate flipper who prefers the modesty of a simple life instead of the lavishness his burgeoning career provides. When the Home Television network discovers him, things change and Cory struggles to manage a developing man-on-man love affair. Step one of building a gay romance mm: lay a solid foundation. Step two: build the framework. Step three: raise the roof. But, will Jake and Cory be able to fill the cracks in their unstable foundation? Warning: Contains graphic sex and strong language. This book is intended for mature audiences—and those who can appreciate gay love stories. The Handyman Can is a full-length, standalone novel. The first few chapters were released under the title Handymen Do It Better but have been revised here and include some deleted scenes.

Review "...both a sexy erotic romp and a sweet love story." --Inked Rainbow Reads"...all in all an entertaining read." --Sassy Beta Reading & Review"Dan Sexton has the solid approach in writing male erotica."--Five stars from Grady Harp, Top 100 Hall of Fame Reviewer

From the Author Thank you for considering The Handyman Can. It's an erotic gay romance for adults. Some people think this genre is all fluff. But I take my work very seriously. I think you'll find this story rich, engaging, fun, and, of course, exciting.Jake and Cory are hot but real. I'm sure you'll find something to relate to in them. They're just two hot, horny handymen with a awesome story--the type you'd hire to mow your lawn or rehab your kitchen.I'd love to hear from you. Let me know what you think by leaving a review and following me on Amazon.Hugs,Dan Sexton

By Grady Harp Successful author and publisher Rick Bettencourt brings back on stage Dan Sexton, a writer new to many of us, in a the completed version of his earlier brief novella HANDY MEN DO IT BETTER: the new completed full length, `fleshed out' version is now called THE HANDY MAN CAN, and the steam does indeed rise.Florida, contemporary times. Jake Honeywell is a 23 year old `blond, green-eyed, six foot two' hunk of a landscaper and in between conversations with his sister and brother he meets 28 year old Cory Hamilton, a hunky golfer from North Carolina who flips real estate for a living. Both men are conflicted about coming out but together they manage to be honest and the results are spontaneous and sensual.Dan Sexton has the solid approach in writing male erotica to make sure that the characters he manipulates are not clones but real men with real conflicts, family and lives beyond the moments of encounters. He introduces maternal alcoholism, DUIs, and the needs of Jake that prompt his moving out of his humble Florida family home. Then realities rise - Cory has a girl in North Carolina and moves back. Jake shares a small apartment with a straight guy Steve, but of course eventually Cory is free and Jake is longing and they start their sensual relationship all over again - with phone sex! And does it build r=form there! This is steamy, raw and rough - just what you might expect form a Handyman - or a man who is `handy'.This is a good `coming out' story written by a lad who seems to have the talent to pursue longer novels. Dan Sexton writes well and has this particular manly genre down well. Grady Harp, April 15

Cocky, affluent TV star Cory is well paired with Jake, a landscaper struggling to make ends meet and care for his family. From closeted hook-up to relationship, Corey and Jake’s story rings true. I like the lack of sentimentality - sex comes before emotion, but my guess is that many relationships start in the same way. The sex in this story is steaming hot, and the men are beautiful and sweet.I enjoyed this. The plot raced a little too fast for me to develop any emotional attachment to the men, but The Handyman Can is a simple, sexy story with an intriguing storyline.I was given this in return for an honest review by Inked Rainbow Reads.Sarah

By drew kirkpatrick This is a real treasure of a story, so full of love it almost overflows, but never too fluffy, not with the two main characters being so chunky! The mix of work, fun and lovemaking, together with a few suspenseful moments make it an irresistible read. Don't expect to put it down once you start!
